El Rancho HS: Recorded a personal best time of 16:38 over a three-mile course and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Was a CIF Qualifier and received the Athlete of the Week award once… Was a member of the Honor Roll… Placed 17th at the Del Rio League Championships his junior season… Received the Most Improved Athlete Award as a freshman on the cross country team… As a member of the track and field team, he specialized in the 800 meters (2:12.0), 1600 meters (4:57.0) and 3200 meters (10:38.0)…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when he posted his personal best time in cross country at the Woodbridge Invitational as a sophomore and when he was able to move up three spots in the league finals to qualify for the CIF Prelims… Would like to transfer to Seattle Pacific University and aspires to be an athletic trainer… His sister Lorena (20) is on the cross country team at the University of LaVerne, while his brother Julio (15) is on the cross country and track teams at El Rancho High… Hobbies include playing and listening to music… Is the son of Moises and Laura Rodriguez… Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 24, 1998…..
