Cerritos College Women’s Water Polo (2019): Was a 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference selection… Finished with 104 career goals, which ranks as the 10th most in school history, while her 34 assists are the 15th most in a season in school history… Played in all 30 games and recorded 45 goals to go along with 40 steals and drew 33 exclusions… Posted a season-high four goals against Citrus College and Rio Hondo College and scored in 24 of the team’s 30 games… Turned in a season-high three assists in five different games and recorded four steals against Los Angeles Valley College…..

Cerritos College Women’s Water Polo (2018): Named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference… Finished second on the team with 59 goals, along with 36 assists and 42 steals…Voted the team’s Falcon of the Year… Scored goals in the first 16 games of the season, including a season-high six against Chaffey College… Added five goals against Pasadena City College and posted four goals in three other games… Turned in a season-high five assists against Rio Hondo College and posted 13 assists in the final five games of the season… Recorded a season-high four steals in four games during the year and had at least one steal in 20 games…..

Cerritos College Women’s Swimming (2019): Finished in second place in the 100-yard backstroke (1:10.32), third in the 100-yard butterfly (1:05.78) and third at the South Coast Conference Championships in the 500-yard freestyle (5:50.66)… Also competed in the 200-yard backstroke (2:39.83) and 1000-yard freestyle (12:47.86) during the season…..

Schurr HS: Was a member of the CIF Division II championship team as a junior on the water polo team… Received the water polo and swimming team’s Most Improved Player as a senior, while she also picked up the award her junior year on the swimming team… Also garnered the Coach’s Award as a senior… Specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (1:03.57), 100-yard butterfly (1:05.94), 100-yard backstroke (1:11.22), 200-yard freestyle (2:17.59), medley relay (1:58.56) and 400-yard relay (1:02.48)… Spent four seasons on the swimming and water polo teams… Was coached by current Falcon assistant coach David Argumosa…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she turned in her personal best time in the butterfly and backstroke, as well as the start of every meet where she attempted to post her best times… Aspires to be a detective or work in law enforcement… Her brothers, Adrian (22) and Miguel (18), both competed in football and track and field at Schurr High… Has another brother – Julio Cesar (24)… Hobbies include writing, playing games, listening to music, exercising and organizing… Nicknamed “Caro”… Is the daughter of Claudia Morataya… Born in Monterey Park, CA on August 16, 2000…..
