A pair of Cerritos College men's soccer players were honored by being named All-Americans this season. Sophomore forward Thiago Lusardi (Centro Educational Ramos HS, Brazil) was named 1st Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association (NSCAA) among Division III (non-scholarship) schools, with freshman midfielder Jose Ochoa (Paramount HS) being selected to the 2nd Team.

Jose Ochoa was selected 2nd Team All-American On the year, the Falcons concluded with a 14-6-4 record and were one win away from advancing to the CCCAA State Championships, but were defeated, 2-1 in overtime by South Coast Conference rival Mt. San Antonio College.

Lusardi, the South Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year, led the team with 18 goals and added four assists, while Ochoa (pictured) was one of the most versatile players for the Falcons and helped the team record seven shutouts on the season. In addition to their All-American honors, Lusardi was also named 1st Team All-West Region, with Ochoa selected to the 2nd Team.

On the year, Lusardi scored in 12 different games, including three different stretches where he found the back of the net in three straight games. He scored a hat trick against Allan Hancock College and posted a pair of goals in four other contests.
