Coming off a season where they won the CCCAA State Championship, the Cerritos College men's soccer team failed to make the post-season after a third place finish in the South Coast Conference. The Falcons (7-10-4) had three players earn 1st Team all-conference recognition, while two were voted to the 2nd Team and one received Honorable Mention honors.

Sophomore Christian Carrillo (Katella HS), who was the conference's Offensive Player of the Year last season, received 1st Team honors, as did freshman Mark Cruz (El Toro HS) and Ivan Vasquez (Fullerton HS). Named to the 2nd Team were freshmen Austin DeMedeiros (Gahr HS) and Michael Licon (Fullerton HS), while freshman Juan Orozco (Sierra HS).

Carrillo led the team with seven goals and added four assists, while Cruz was second on the team with five goals and led the Falcons with five assists. He scored two of those goals in the last two games, as the team finished the season with a 3-0-1 record with four shutouts. Vasquez, one of the team's most solid defenders, produced one goal and an assist.

The team's other defender that saw most of the action in the back was DeMedeiros, who scored twice and was also instrumental in the team's late-season success. Licon posted one goal and an assist on the season, while Orozco recorded a pair of goals.
