Gahr HS: Voted the San Gabriel Valley League Most Valuable Player his senior season and was his team’s MVP three years in a row… Finished the team near the top of the state in goals scored… Also voted the team’s Offensive Player of the Year… While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle, 200-yard and 400-yard IM relay and the 500-yard freestyle… Was a member of the swimming, water polo and wrestling teams…..
