Paramount HS: Specialized in the 100-yard butterfly (1:00), 20-yard freestyle (2:03) and 200-yard IM (2:15)… Was a three-time All-San Gabriel Valley League selection on the water polo team and was voted their Most Valuable Player his senior and junior seasons… Helped the team advance to the CIF Semifinals as a sophomore… Spent four seasons on the swimming and water polo teams…..
