Cerritos HS: While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle… Voted the water polo team’s Most Improved Player as a junior, while his team won the 605 League championship that season… Was coached by former Cerritos water polo player and swimmer Al Reyes… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams…..
