Cerritos College freshman Arturo Ortuno (Universidad La Salle, Mexico) was named All-American after leading the men's water polo team to the Southern California Regional Playoffs. Ortuno finished third on the team with 44 goals and 41 assists, while he led them with 72 steals. The Falcons concluded the season with a 16-13 record, while they placed second in the South Coast Conference. Ortuno is the fifth Cerritos player to earn All-American honors in the last three seasons and is the 25th All-American under head coach Joe Abing in his 15 seasons.

In addition to being named All-American, Ortuno was voted 1st Team All-Southern California, with freshman teammate Raul Muniz (Colbach HS, Mexico) earning 2nd Team recognition. On the year, Muniz was second on the team in goals (57), assists (42) and steals (54). The two were also named 1st Team all-conference. Joining them as 1st Team All-SCC selections was sophomore Salvador Orozco (Montebello HS), who led the team with 61 goals and 46 exclusions drawn.

The sophomore duo of Mark Arroyo (Schurr HS) and Julian Casillas (Harvard-Westlake HS/University of La Verne) were named to the 2nd Team, while sophomores Bryan Santis (La Serna HS) and Matthew Contreras (Montebello HS) were joined by freshman Dylan Sun (Cerritos HS) as Honorable Mention choices. Arroyo scored 37 goals on the year, while his 53 assists led the team and also record 36 steals. As for Casillas, he finished fourth on the team in goals (39) and assists (34), while also adding 38 steals and was second with 34 exclusions drawn. Santis recorded 27 goals and 28 exclusions drawn, with Contreras posting a 12-12 record in goal on the year. He posted 215 saves and recorded 45 steals. Sun finished the season with 24 goals, 26 assists and was fourth on the team with 43 steals.
