UC Riverside: Attended the school, but did not play basketball…..

La Serna HS: Helped the team win the Del Rio League championship as a senior and junior… Voted the school’s Athlete of the Year her senior season, while also being named 1st Team All-Area, 1st Team all-league and her team’s Most Valuable Player… In her junior season, she was a 2nd Team All-Area, 1st Team all-league and the team’s MVP… Earned 2nd Team all-league recognition as a sophomore and was named the team’s Best Offensive Player… While on the volleyball team, she was a member of two league championship teams, was named 1st Team all-league as a senior and 2nd Team all-league as a junior… Spent four seasons on the basketball and volleyball teams… Was coached in volleyball by former Cerritos player Monique Gayton…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when her team beat El Rancho High, who was undefeated, and helped them win the league title for the first time in 10 years… Would like to transfer to UCLA and aspires to be either a criminal law attorney or work in government intelligence… Hobbies include watching movies and outdoor activities… Nicknamed “Bella”… Has one sister – Nicolette (18)… Is the daughter of Daniel and Yvonne Apodaca… Born in Whittier, CA on December 24, 2000…..
