Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2022): Finished in sixth place in the triple jump at the CCCAA State Championships after taking placing fifth at the Southern California Championships and finishing second at the South Coast Conference Championships… Ran the first leg of the 1600-meter relay team that came in seventh place at the CCCAA State Championships… Advanced to the CCCAA State Championships in the long jump (5.45 meters) after a ninth place finish at the Southern California Championships… Also competed in the 200 meters (27.48) and 400 meters (1:03.02) during the season…..

Carson HS: Senior year was canceled due to Covid-19… Was a state qualifier as a junior and a two-time CIF qualifier… Specialized in the long jump (17’ 3”) and triple jump (35’)… Spent four seasons on the track and field team…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were when she recorded her personal best marks… Would like to transfer to Cal State Northridge… Aspires to be an athletic trainer… Hobbies include traveling and walking her dog… Nicknamed “Jo”… Has two siblings – Mourgan (16) and Abyn (12)… Is the daughter of Burnell and Brandy Hurst… Born in Bellflower, CA on May 10, 2002…..
