With wins in 10 different events, the Cerritos College women's track & field team went on to win their second invitational of the year. The Falcons compiled 225 team points to easily outdistance the other eight teams at the Orange Coast Classic on Friday. The team will compete in the Mangrum Invitational at Cal State San Marcos next Friday.

Of the 10 wins, seven of them came in running events, with sophomore Aryianna Faircloth (Magnolia HS) posting a first place time of 12.15 in the 100 meters, and also ran a leg of the 4x100-meter relay team that came in first place. Also on that relay team, sophomore Rionna Wallace (Lakewood HS/Cal State Northridge) had a hand in four victories. She ran the second leg of the 400-meter relay team and 1600-meter relay team, while she was clocked in 25.13 to come in first place in the 200 meters. Also running the 400-meter relay team with Faircloth and Wallace were freshman Crystal Nguyen (Fountain Valley HS), as well as sophomore Jazzmine Davis (El Camino Real Charter HS), as they turned in a time of 47.04.

Davis also ran the first leg of the 4x400-meter relay team along with Wallace, sophomore Sophie Lopez (Fountain Valley HS) and freshman Elena Mack (El Camino Real Charter HS), as they were clocked in 4:01.50. Davis was a three-time winner, as she defeated the field in the 100-meter HH with a clocking of 14.62. The Falcons also saw freshman Megan Feitz (Fountain Valley HS) win the 800 meters in a time of 2:27.75, while the time of 4:49.85 by freshman Samantha Martinez (Fountain Valley HS) was good enough to win the 1500 meters.

In the field events, Wallace picked up her fourth win of the day with a long jump of 5.29 meters, while freshman Jessica McLennan (Warren HS) won the shot put with a distance of 10.73 meters. The final first place result came in the hammer with freshman Milika Burdett (Cypress HS) registering a distance of 42.16 meters.
