Cerritos College Women’s Track & Field (2024): Was selected to represent the Guatemalan National Team and competed in the Central America U20 Championships… Placed third in two events… While with the Falcons, she Qualified for the SoCal Championships in the discus (39.47 meters) and hammer (40.29 meters)…

Tustin HS: Advanced to the CIF Finals in the discus (124’ 6”) after winning the Empire League championships… Set the school record in the discus as a senior… Named 1st Team all-league and was her team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior… Also competed in the shot put (32’ 9”)… Was a member of the track and field team for four seasons and the cross country team for three years…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was her personal best distance in the discus at the CIF Finals… Would like to transfer any school that offers a scholarship… Aspires to be an orthopedic surgeon… Her brother Erick (42) competed in cross country, while her other brother Nelson (29) played football… Hobbies include reading and hiking… Nicknamed “Em”… Is the daughter of Nelson Ortiz and Brenda Perez… Born in Santa Ana, CA on March 8, 2005…..
