For the 14th time in school history, and first time since 2019, the Cerritos College women's track and field captured the South Coast Conference championship. The Falcons, who finished with 307.5 team points, pulled away from defending champion Mt. San Antonio College, who amassed 207 team points. Next up for Cerritos is the Southern California Prelims, which will take place at San Diego Mesa College next Friday.

Cerritos women's track & field won the conference championship Highlighting a championship where the Falcons won nine events, including every throwing event, was the 4x100-meter relay team. The quartet of Jazzmine Davis (El Camino Real Charter HS), Kimora Rogers (Katella HS), Rionna Wallace (Lakewood HS) and Aryianna Faircloth (Magnolia HS) not only won the conference championship, they set a new school record with a time of 45.34. They eclipsed the old mark of 45.67 set in 2019 by Kenyla Miles, Kierra King, Mahlaya Salter and Alona Davis.

Davis won three individual events and ran a leg of the winning 400-meter relay team. She amassed 56 points on her own, which included also running a leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that registered a second place time of 3:54.37. That foursome consisted of Elena Mack (El Camino Real Charter HS), Sophie Lopez (Fountain Valley HS), Wallace and Davis. Davis also won the 400-meter IH (1:03.39), long jump (5.85 meters) and heptathlon with 4599 points.
