Cerritos College Men’s Swimming (2019): Took sixth place at the CCCAA State Championships in the 100-yard butterfly and was 12th in the 100-yard backstroke… His times in both events rank second on the college’s all-time list… Qualified for the CCCAA State Championships in the 100-yard backstroke (52.99) and 100-yard butterfly (51.18) after placing second in the South Coast Conference Championships in both events… Also took third place in the 50-yard freestyle (21.46), with the times of all three events being the second fastest in school history… Won the 50-yard butterfly at the Golden West Invitational with a time of 24.78 and placed second in the 50-yard backstroke with a clocking of 25.85…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2019): Played in 32 games and started 19 times… Finished with 12 goals, 28 assists and 34 steals… Had two goals, two assists and three steals against El Camino College, while he turned in a season-high three assists against Merced College and Palomar College… Had a season-high three steals against Chaffey College…..

Cerritos College Men’s Water Polo (2018): Named All-South Coast Conference Honorable Mention… Voted the team’s Most Improved Player… Played in all 28 games and finished with 14 goals, 13 assists and 42 steals… Scored a season-high three goals against Southwestern College and posted a season-high four steals in four separate matches, including the conference semifinals against Mt. San Antonio College…..

Golden West College: Attended the school, but did not play water polo…..

Kennedy HS: As a senior, he was named his school’s Athlete of the Year, as well as the Empire League Athlete of the Year… Won the CIF championship in the 100-yard butterfly… Spent four seasons on the water polo and swimming teams, as well as one season with the soccer team… While on the swimming team, he specialized in the 100-yard freestyle (47.63), 100-yard butterfly (50.40) and 100-yard backstroke (54.31)…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he won the CIF championship in the 100-yard butterfly… Aspires to be a detective… Hobbies include fly fishing… Has two siblings – Bertha (24) and Eduardo (18)… Is the son of Rodrigo and Bertha Baca… Born in Lynwood, CA on November 19, 1997…..
