Continuing their trend of pitting their athletes against four-year competition, the Cerritos College men's track and field split their squad for the second weekend in a row. Part of the team traveled north to compete in the Hornet Invitational at Sacramento State University, while others stayed close to take part in the Cal State Los Angeles Invitational. Next weekend, the Falcons will spend two days at UCLA to compete in the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival on Friday and then the Rafer Johnson & Jackie Joyner Kersey Invitational on Saturday.
