South Gate HS: Posted a personal best time of 22:30 at the Pierce College Prelims as a senior on the cross country team… While on the track and field team, he specialized in the 100 meters (12.0), 200 meters (25.3), 400 meters (59.0) and long jump (16’ 6”)… Spent one season on the cross country and track and field teams…..
