In their dual match prior to competing in the West Hills College Lemoore Tournament on Saturday, the Cerritos College wrestling team took on West Hills the night before. Resting their primary starers for the tournament, the Falcons competed with a younger squad and won the match on criteria after the team score on knotted at 21-21.

The Falcons picked up wins from sophomore Dalton Foster (Long Beach Millikan HS), who recorded a pin at 133 pounds, while freshman Gino Roman (El Dorado HS) and Oscar Martinez (Centennial HS) each won their match by 6-2 scores at 184 pounds and 197 pounds, respectively. Freshman Bryan Puente (Downey HS) earned an 8-6 win in his 149 pound match, while freshman Kevin James (Redondo Union HS) received a forfeit win at 157 pounds.
