Cerritos College volleyball player Jasmynne Roberts has signed a letter of intent with the University of Antelope Valley and will be part of their first-ever team. The Pioneers are an NAIA team and are in the process of building the program's first team. This past season, Roberts was a 1st team All-South Coast Conference selection.

While with Cerritos, Roberts amassed 583 career kills, which ranks her fifth on the school's all-time list. She led the team with 339 kills and 272 digs this season, which rank ninth and 10th, respectively, on the college's single-season record list. She also added 21 blocks, 20 assists and 15 service aces.

Roberts posted double-digit kills in 20 of the Falcons 22 matches, including a career-high 27 kills in a five-set win over Long Beach City College, along with 26 in a match against College of the Canyons. She had over 20 kills in four other matches and had a career-high 26 digs in that match against the Cougars.

Sara Hickman, who was a 2nd Team All-SCC pick, will be walking on at UC San Diego after finishing second on the team with 198 kills and wa third in the team with 221 digs. Hickman recorded a season-high 18 kills against Victor Valley College and had double-digit kills in 10 matches. The team's primary setter, Michelle Barba, has been accepted academically to Cal State Fullerton. She finished with 554 assists, 124 digs and 25 services aces on the season.
