Paced by nine top five finishes, the Cerritos College men's track and field team finished in third place at the Southern California Championships on Saturday at Antelope Valley College. The Falcons compiled 57 team points, which trailed only South Coast Conference rival Mt. San Antonio College (207 team points) and Riverside City College, who had 156 points. The CCCAA State Championships will take place next weekend at San Diego Mesa College.

The third place was the second year in a row that Cerritos finished in the bronze medla position and trailed both the Mounties and Tigers for the second consecutive season.
