Concluding their Northern California trip, the Cerritos College women's soccer team suffered a 5-0 setback at the hands of host Cosumnes River College on Sunday. The Falcons (0-3-0), still looking for their first win of the season, will travel to Saddleback College on Friday for a 3:00 p.m. game against the defending 3C2A state champions.

In their game against the Hawks (3-0-1), Cerritos found themselves trailing within the first five minutes of the game and had hopes of going into intermission one shot away tying game. However, Cosumnes River added three more goals to their total in the final seven minutes of the first half.

It was an offensive struggle for the Falcons all day, as they could only get one shot on goal, which came late in the first half by freshman Nicole Munoz (La Habra HS).
