On Friday, the Cerritos College women's swimming took on both Pasadena City College and host Mt. San Antonio College in a South Coast Conference three-way dual meet. The Falcons recorded a 94-66 win over the Lancers, while they fell, 225-34 against the host Mounties. The team will host El Camino College next Friday at 10:00 a.m. in their first home dual of the season.

The only overall winner on the day was diver Alexis Cummings (Mayfair HS), who compiled 145.95 points in the 1-meter diving event and finished 13 points ahead of the top Mt. San Antonio diver.

Cerritos also won earned first place points in seven events against the Lancers, with four of them as a result of no Pasadena City entries in the events. Those included Autumn Aragon (Whittier HS) in both the 100-yard butterfly (1:30.76) and 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 15:55.81. Teammate Abigail Perez (Bell HS) received second place team points with her time of 1:33.17 in the 100-yard butterfly. Also securing more first place team points in a pair of events was Hannah Gonzalez (Artesia HS) in the 100-yard backstroke (1:30.67) and 200-yard backstroke (3:17.01).

With no Pasadena entries in the 100-yard freestyle, Cummings posted a time of 1:05.54, with the 200-yard medley relay also getting first place team points, as the quarter of Gonzalez, Cummings, Perez and Aragon turning in a time of 2:33.92. Perez defeated a Lancer swimmer in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 34.38, which earned her nine team points for coming in first place.
