A trio of Cerritos College volleyball players were selected to receive post-season honors after the team finished the South Coast Conference in fourth place. The Falcons, who were two wins away from making the playoffs, finished the year with a 16-11 record. In consecutive home conference matches, Cerritos had a two games to one lead over both second place Mt. San Antonio College and third place Pasadena City College. But they were unable to hold onto their leads, which dropped them to fourth place in the standings. Wins in both of those matches would have put them in a tie for second place and received a playoff berth. This place Pasadena City received the final playoff berth.

Named to the 1st Team were sophomores Nicole Spigner (La Mirada HS) and setter Natalie Caravantes (Baldwin Park HS), while sophomore Valerie Montoya (La Mirada HS) received 2nd Team recognition.

Spigner led the team with 268 kills on the year and was second with 298 digs. Her kill total is the 15th most in a single season in school history, while her total digs are the eighth most in a season. Also effective as a server, she contributed 28 aces. As for Caravantes, dished out 784 assists, while also adding 57 kills, 133 digs and 27 service aces. The assist total is the 11th most for a setter in school history. Montoya was fourth on the team with 78 kills, while she added 113 digs from the back row and finished second on the team with 44 service aces.
