In the second round of the NBA G League Draft, former Cerritos College forward Anthony Lefeau was drafted by the Reno Bighorns. A member of the Falcons during the 2014-15 and 2016-17 seasons, Lefeau averaged 7.9 points and 4.5 rebounds a game during his sophomore season. He converted 56% of his shots and posted a career-high 22 points in a game against El Camino College. His freshman season saw him average 2.9 points and 2.4 rebounds a game, while he missed the 2015-16 year with an injury.

Lefeau heard about a tryout and decided to attend, which turned into him impressing the recruiters from the Reno Bighorns, who selected him in the 2nd Round (40th overall pick), and was the team's third selection in the draft. The Bighorns, property of the Sacramento Kings, start their 50-game season on November 5.

In other men's basketball news, former Falcon Jarion Henry has signed a professional contract with St. John Edge, a new team in the National Basketball League of Canada.

In his one season with Cerritos during the 2013-14 season, Henry was named the South Coast Conference Player of the Year after averaging 12.8 points and 9.9 points a game. He got the Falcons to within one win from the CCCAA Final Four, as they team finished with a 19-11 record. He signed with Cal State San Bernardino, but did not play for the Coyotes.
