On Saturday, November 11, the Cerritos College men's and women's soccer teams will be hosting Operation Care Package during their final regular season games against Long Beach City College. The purpose of the event, which is in collaboration with the college's Veteran's Resource Center, is to accept donations for homeless veterans and all donational will be sent to local shelters. Game times on Saturday will be 1:00 p.m. (men) and 3:00 p.m. (women) and donations will be accepted both at the game and in advance at the Cerritos College Men's Locker Room Office from Nov. 6-10. Admission to the games are free.

Additionally, every veteran in attendance can get a free haircut that day, compliments of Outsiders Barbershop, which is located in Bellflower. Veterans in attendance can also receive a free neck massage and snacks. Musical entertainment will be provided by the Color Guard, as well as other festivities.
