Cerritos College sophomore guard Anthony Holliday (Norwalk HS) was named the South Coast Conference South Division Player of the Year after helping lead the team to the championship. In addition, Falcon head coach Russ May was named the division's Coach of the Year. Also earning 1st Team honors was freshman guard Kevin Conrad (Buena Park HS) and sophomore Marquise Washington (Westchester HS/Cypress College), while sophomore forward David Hall (Lynwood HS/Yavapai, AZ CC) was named Honorable Mention.

Holliday led the team in conference scoring at 16.1 points a game and shot 46% from the field, as the Falcons went 10-3 to win their third divisional title in the last six seasons. The Lamar University-bound Hollliday also leads the team in scoring on the year at 14.6 points a game, as the team prepares for the Southern California Regional Playoffs. As for May, this is the second time in his four seasons he has earned the award, as he was named the Coach of the Year in 2009-10, his first season as the head coach.

Conrad averaged 11.8 points a game in conference play and scores 12.1 points on the year, while he converted 55% of his field goals and pulls down four rebounds a game. He had a three-game stretch in conference play where he scored over 20 points. Washington averaged 10.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in conference play, which included several outstanding games in big situations. Hall is one of the leaders off the bench for the Falcons and averages 9.3 points with 6.1 rebounds a game and has converted 48% of his shots.
