Norwalk HS: As a member of the cross country team, he posted a personal best time of 16:35 over a three-mile course in his senior year… Also competed on the track and field team and specialized in the 800 meters (2:19), 1600 meters (5:02) and 3200 meters (10:48)… Placed eighth in a Suburban League meet… Spent four seasons on the cross country and track and field teams…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he placed eighth in the Suburban League Meet #2 with his personal best cross country time….
