With 11 of the 21 schools competing at the Biola Invitational being four-year schools, the Cerritos College men's cross country team finished in 15th place overall. The Falcons, who finished with 475 team points, placed ahead of five other community colleges. They will continue their season next Friday when they compete in the Coach Downey Cross Country Classic at Morely Field in San Diego.

Completing the 8K course first for Cerritos was Ryan Perdomo (El Rancho HS), who recorded a time of 29:08.1, which put him in 125th place overall, while the tandem of Isaac Gonzalez (Norwalk HS) and Justin Loague (Buena Park HS) weren't far behind. The time of 29:40.1 put Gonzalez in 135th place, with Loague clocking a 138th place time of 29:46.1. A minute later, it was the pairing of Joshua Granados (California HS) with a 165th place time of 30:45.1, with Roy Garcia (Salesian HS) placing 167th overall with a time of 30:53.7.

The Falcons continued to run in packs, as Joe Munoz (Long Beach Jordan HS; 31:34.0; 176th place), Jose Garcia (Norwalk HS; 31:44.1; 179th place), Marcus Hughes (Carson HS; 32:24.2; 184th place), Jorge Reyes (El Rancho HS; 33:11.2; 188th place) and Daniel Gomez (Santa Fe HS; 33:31.3; 189th place) all finished within 13 places of each other.
