In the second California Community College Sports Information Association (CCCSIA) men's soccer ranking, Cerritos College has moved up to the #1 position. The Falcons (7-1-2), who were ranked #6 in the state last week, jumped to the top of the polls in both the state and Southern California ranking. On Friday, the team will host rival Mt. San Antonio College (6-1-3) at 4:00 p.m., who is tied for fourth in the state and tied for second in Southern California in the ranking.

The only loss the Falcons suffered this season was a last-minute 2-1 setback against #2-ranked Taft College, who was ranked #1 in the state last week. In this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) ranking among Division III (non-scholarship) schools, Cerritos is ranked #6 in the country while the Mounties are ranked #10.
