M. Track: Limited squad wins two events

With less than a full contingent of athletes, the Cerritos College men's track and field team had a pair of first place finishes at the Mt. SAC Relays on Saturday. The Falcons, who will be providing the facility for the Long Beach Relays this weekend, had two athletes put their names on the school's all-time Top 5 list on Saturday.

Sophomore Adam Aguirre (Cantwell HS), the current Southern California leader in the high jump, won the event at Mt. SAC with a height of 2.07 meters, while he came in third place in the long jump with a distance of 6.88 meters. He's currently fifth in SoCal in the long jump. Sophomore Terrell White (Washington Prep HS) earned a first place finish in the 400 meters with a clocking of 48.13. He ranks second in Southern California in the event.

Freshman Matthew Seawright (Long Beach Millikan HS), who placed seventh in the hammer with a distance of 50.31 meters, put his name second on the school's all-time record list. The school record of 54.30 meters was set in 2011 by Miguel Lopez.
