A pair of Cerritos College women's basketball players earned 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division honors, while two others received 2nd Team recognition. Sophomore Kaylyn James (Lakewood HS), who led the Falcons with a 15.3 scoring average, was joined by freshman Crystal Rodriguez (El Rancho HS), who averaged 10.6 points and nine rebounds on the first team. Named to the 2nd Team were freshmen Alexis Clark (Mayfair HS) and Angie Ferreira (Long Beach Millikan HS).

James also led the team with 61 three-pointers made and shot 76.5% from the free throw line and opened the season with a career-high 31 points. She went on to score over 20 points five times in the year and recorded double-digit scoring in 23 of the team's 28 games, including 15 of the final 16 games. James also posted three double-doubles.

Crystal Rodriguez was named 1st Team All-SCC Rodriguez (pictured, left) led the team with a 42.7 shooting percentage and 20 blocked shots, while she hauled in a season-high 21 rebounds in a win over Los Angeles Harbor College and scored 20 points. In fact, Rodriguez brought down double-digit rebounds numbers in 12 games and also had 18 boards in a win against San Diego Mesa College. On the year, Rodriguez scored in double-figures 16 times.

As for Clark, she averaged 9.0 points and 7.5 rebounds a game, which included a season-high 24 points and 16 rebounds against Los Angeles Harbor College, as well as two other 20-point outings. Ferriera accounted for 7.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.4 rebounds a game, while posting double-digit scoring in 13 games. She scored a season-high 16 points against Soloano College and had a stretch of six games in a row where she scored in double figures. Against Los Angeles Southwest College, Ferreria dished out a season-high nine assists and had six assists in three other games.
