In their final South Coast Conference crossover game of the season, the Cerritos College men's basketball team recorded a 91-68 win at Rio Hondo College on Friday. Winners of two games in a row, the Falcons (9-9) will open South Division play on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. when they host El Camino College. The 91 points was also the most the team has scored this season.

McCoy converted another three-point play to push the lead to 69-50 with 10:56 remaining in the second half, while a Dillon Botts (Mayfair HS) three-pointer made it an 80-60 advantage with 6:54 left in the game.

As a team, Cerritos had six players score in double figures, with sophomore Miles Ceballos (Crossroads HS/Ventura College) one assist away from a triple double. He finished the game with 17 points to go along with 12 rebounds and nine assists, with McCoy contributing 17 points and 12 rebounds in 20 minutes of play off the bench.
