South Coast Conference South Division Player of the Year and All-State selection Miles Ceballos (Crossroads HS/Ventura College) has decided to continue his education and playing career at Hope International University. Ceballos, who averaged 11.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists during the 10-game divisional season, became the 16th player in school history to receive the conference Player of the Year honor and 31st player in school history to be named All-State.

Over the course of the season, Ceballos recorded a triple-double against El Camino College one game after coming one assist shy of the feat against Rio Hondo College. He recorded a season-high 23 points and 14 rebounds against Compton College, while he turned in multiple double-digit scoring (15) and rebounding (four) efforts this season.

On the year. Ceballos averaged 9.9 points a game, was second on the team with 5.9 rebounds a game and led the squad at 4.4 assists per game.

Ceballos will be teaming up for former Falcon teammate Jale Shores, who played his junior year with the Royals. However, it will have to wait another season, as Shores will miss the 2024-25 season with an injury. Last year, Hope International reached the championship game of the Golden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Tournament and then dropped their opening game of the NAIA Tournament and finished with a 21-10 record.

Ceballos joins Eric Clark (Westcliff University) and Cameron McCoy (Langston University) who have already made their commitments.
