The Cerritos College men's tennis team continued to dominate the South Coast Conference, as they handed El Camino College a 7-2 defeat on Tuesday. The Falcons, who are now 4-0 in the SCC, have now won 11 matches in a row on the year and are 12-2. The team will host NCAA Division III power Amherst (MA) College, who are in the middle of a West Coast swing in their schedule. The Jeffs will be splitting their squad into four teams that day, with one of them coming to take on Cerritos. Last year, the Falcons lost a close 5-4 decision to Amherst.

In the win over the Warriors, the Falcons won five of the six singles matches in straight sets to secure the victory. Staying true to form, the tandem of sophomore Nathan Eshmade (Kings Baptist, Australia HS) and freshman Amadi Kagoma (Malezi School, Kenya HS) continued their undefeated run, as they each posted straight set wins. Doubles partners all season, the two took the day off.

Competing in the #3 singles position for the first time this year, freshman Sheldon Hseih (Long Beach Poly HS) recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win over Anthony Ya, while both Simon Graff (Clements, TX HS) and Edgar Munoz (Paramount HS) both win tight matches.

Hseih and freshman Nicholas Simonelli (Long Beach Millikan HS) assumed the #1 double spot and posted an 8-6 win, while sophomore Mark Herrera (Bosco Tech HS) and freshman Milos Zoric (Gimnazjia Indijija, Serbia HS) posted an 8-5 win.
