With the South Coast Conference Tournament down to the final four in both singles and doubles, the Cerritos College men's tennis team will be looking across the net at teammates in those matches on Saturday. The Falcons, who are also hosting the tournament, have three of the four in the semifinals in both singles and doubles. Singles play is set for noon with the quarterfinals, while the championships are slated for 2:00 p.m. As for doubles play, the semifinals are set to begin at 4:00 p.m., with the finals at 5:30 p.m.

In singles action, top-seeded Nathan Eshmade (Kings Baptist, Australia HS) dispatched AnthonyYa of El Camino College, 6-0, 6-0 on Friday and will now take on teammate Sheldon Hseih (Long Beach Poly HS), who defeated Adrian Peralta of Mt. San Antonio College, 6-4, 6-4. In the other singles semifinals, Amadi Kagoma (Malezi School, Kenya HS) handed Andrew Tek of Mt. SAC a 6-0, 6-3 loss and will be taking on El Camino's Whitney Reed. Both Eshmade and Kagoma are undefeated in singles this year and could possibly face off against each other in the championships.

That won't happen in doubles, as the two are paired with each other and will be taking on teammates Mark Herrera (Bosco Tech HS) and Milos Zoric (Gimnazjia Indijija, Serbia HS) after they both posted easy wins in Friday. Hseih and Nicholas Simonelli (Long Beach Wilson HS) defeated Mt. SAC's top doubles team of Tek and Cameron Webber and will now square off against El Camino's Ya and Britton Henriksen.
