After going undefeated in the South Coast Conference and earning several high-profile wins, the Cerritos College men's tennis team has been seeded #3 for the Southern California Regional Team Playoffs. The Falcons (17-5) will be hosting #6-seeded San Diego Mesa College (13-9) at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Earlier in the season, Cerritos defeated the Olympians, 5-4 in a non-conference match. San Diego Mesa placed fourth in the Pacific Coast Conference.

Cerritos has faced six of the other seven teams that were selected for the playoffs and has gone, 4-2 with the two losses by 5-4 scores. In their previous win over San Diego Mesa, the Falcons won two of the three doubles matches and then picked up two more wins at the top of the ladder. The clinching win came in the #6 position, while one of the singles matches went three sets and in favor of SD Mesa.

For this upcoming match, the top three singles matches will be the same as their regular season meetings. After that, changes in both lineups will make for new matches at the bottom of the ladder and all three doubles.

The winner of this match will face either #2-seeded College of the Desert or #7-seeded Riverside City College on Tuesday, April 15.
