Results
In the Southern California Prelims at San Diego Mesa College on Friday, the Cerritos College men's track and field team compiled six team points in the three events that were competed as finals. Those who qualified will return to San Diego next Friday for the Southern California Championships.
The Falcons earned their six team points in the hammer where sophomore Micah Norfles (Marina HS) took third place. The hammer was one of the three events that were contested as finals, with the other two being the shot put and 10,000 meters. Norfles was the highest placing Cerritos entry and came in 11th place. The team did not have an entry in the 10,000 meters.
Below is a list of the Cerritos entries in the SoCal Prelims. Those on BOLD qualified for the SoCal Finals next Friday.
