Cerritos College women's track and field freshman Alexus Dalton (Long Beach Poly HS) won three events at a four-way meet on Friday and along the way set a new school record. The Falcons finished in second place at the meet with 152 team points and trailed only host Mt. Cerritos will split their squad this weekend, with the throwers attending the Santa Barbara Invitational on Friday, while the remainder of the squad will be at the Cal State Northridge Invitational.

Dalton set a new school record in winning the 100-meter HH with a time of 14.30, which eclipsed the old mark of 14.37 set by Erin Straughter in 2009. Gray was one of 11 Falcons to take part in the shot put and came in third place with a distance of 13.11 meters. Cerritos had the fifth through ninth place finishers in the event, as well as the 11th through 14th places.
