M. Track & Field: Team finishes in fifth at the SoCal Championships

In the Southern California Championships at Moorpark College on Saturday, the Cerritos College men's track and field team compiled 40 team points, which put them in fifth place. The Falcons were led by throwers Casanova Ah-Fook and Micah Norfles, who both qualified for the CCCAA State Championships in the discus and hammer and combined for 18 of the team's points. The state championships will take place next Friday and Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College.

The 1600-meter relay team of Bryce Pearson, Jaheim Williams, Caleb Dunomes and Colby Owens turned in a fourth place time of 3:16.50, which advances them to the state championships, while Pearson will also represent the Falcons in the decathlon.
