With four events in the books, the Cerritos College men's track and field team is tied for third place in the standings with 15 team points. The Falcons scored points in two of those events and will send those who qualified to the Southern California Championships next Friday at Moorpark College.
Scoring points for Cerritos were decathlete Bryce Pearson, as well as Casanova Ah-Fook and Micah Norfles in the hammer. Pearson, who competed in the SoCal Decathlon Championships back in early April, posted a third place finish with 5839 points.
In the hammer, Ah-Fook and Norfles were separated by just one inch, with Ah-Fook taking fourth place at 143' 6" (43.75 meters) and Norfles in fifth place at 143' 5" (43.72 meters).
