In a season that was ended due to an injury just five games in, Cerritos College freshman guard Alyssa Salgado (Sonora HS) has decided to sign a letter of intent with Life Pacific College, who will be starting their first season of competition in 2018-19. Voted a team captain, Salgado averaged 5.4 points and shot 52% from the field as one of the team's starters at the beginning of the season. She will be receiving a medical red-shirt for this season and still have four years to play for the Warriors, who are members of the Golden State Athletic Conference, while the school is located in San Dimas.

Prior to her injury, Salgado posted a season-high eight points against Bakersfield College, which included netting a pair of three-pointers, along with three rebounds, three assists and three steals. In the game where she suffered the season-ending injury, Salgado had accounted for seven points on 3-of-5 shooting against West Los Angeles College. She also recorded four points in each of the other three games.
