On Tuesday in their South Coast Conference women's soccer game, Mt. San Antonio College was able to do something no other team has been able to do this season - shut out Cerritos College. The two teams played to a 0-0 tie, which keeps the Falcons in first place with a 5-1-1 record, while they are now 10-1-2 overall. The team will now play four straight games at home and start with a 4:00 p.m. game against Los Angeles Harbor College on Friday.

Both teams had chances to score, but came up empty on the day. Freshman goalkeeper Maria Santoyo (Universidad de Guadalajara HS) and Mountie Lindsey Stocks combined to turn away 11 shots, with Santoyo recording her fifth shutout of the year.

The trio of Karina Sandoval (Universidad de Guadalajara HS), Lauren Nanez (La Mirada HS) and Claudia Ibarra (Universidad de Guadalajara HS) all put a pair of shots on goal, as the Falcons had seven on the day. Mt. San Antonio finished the game with eight shots on goal.
