The she allowed a rebound and freshman Carolina Ornelas (Artesia HS) was right in front of the net and chipped home the ball for her 12th goal of the season.

Freshman Cassidy Hodson (Villa Park HS) took the offensive pressure toward the Viking net and sent a shot at the net, where Gomez was there to knock the ball into the net for a 2-0 lead at intermission.

The second half was more of the same, as the Falcons dominated the play, as they scored twice in the final 10 minutes of the game. On a corner kick in the 81st minute, freshman Cassie Reyes (Bishop Amat HS) sent the ball to the far post, where Requejo was there to poke the ball into the corner of the net for her first of two goals.
