Playing their third match in as many days, the Cerritos College women's tennis team earned their third win, as they defeated host Reedley College, 9-0 on Saturday. The Falcons (16-1), ranked #1 in Southern California, will resume South Coast Conference play, as they travel to Cal Poly Pomona to take on Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday.

Knowing they would be receiving two team points because the Tigers had only five players, the Falcons switched up their doubles teams. Playing together for the fifth time this season, sophomore Taylor Heath (Cerritos HS) and freshman Tiffany Sanchez (Long Beach Wilson HS) improved to 4-1 as a tandem after earning an 8-1 win. Pairing up for the first time this season, sophomores Anastasia Khomyachenko (Sochi, Russia) and Jovana Milosevic (High School of Business and Law, Serbia) played well together and recorded an 8-4 win.

Both Sanchez and Milosevic earned 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles play, with freshman Danielle Pastor (Bishop Montgomery HS) surrendering just one game in a 6-0, 6-1 win in the #5 position on the ladder. The team's top two players, Heath (6-0, 6-2) and Khomyachenko (6-1, 6-1) each lost just two combined games to help Cerritos with their ninth 9-0 win this season and sixth in their last seven matches.
