One of the more prolific power hitters in the state, sophomore Kylee Brown (Mayfair HS) was one of five Cerritos College softball players who were named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference South Division. Ranking second in the state in RBI (64) and third in home runs (16) heading into the post-season, Brown was joined on the 1st Team by sophomores Jissel Caballero (Warren HS), Kristen Voller (Norco HS) and Kimberly Olivas (Warren HS), along with freshman Briana Lopez (Norwalk HS). Earning 2nd Team recognition was freshman Rain Vega (La Mirada HS), while freshman Carly Gutierrez (Santa Fe HS) was an Honorable Mention choice.

The Falcons (26-13), third place finishers in the South Coast Conference South Division, saw Brown lead the team in batting average (.415), hits (51), home runs (16), RBI (64) and slugging percentage (.919). Throughout the season, Brown, a two-time 1st Team selection, opened the season as the starting second baseman and then moved to first base and is now the team's starting shortstop.

Also playing multiple positions, Caballero batted .385 on the year with seven home runs, 13 doubles and 41 RBI and became the first player in school history to play every position in her career. While in the circle, Caballero went 9-3 with one save and a team-leading 2.38 ERA. She also appeared in 94 innings and recorded 66 strikeouts. In the last few weeks of the season, when not seeing action in the circle, Voller has been the team's starting first baseman. She is 13-7 on the year as a pitcher with one save and leads the team in innings pitched (111) and strikeouts (79).

Named to the 1st Team for the second year in a row, Olivas was the Falcons starting center fielder and posted a .378 batting average and leads the team in runs (55), doubles (13), walks (27) and stolen bases (17). Hitting in the leadoff spot, Olivas is also fourth on the team with 21 RBI. Lopez has settled into the team's starting catcher's position and threw out nine base stealers, while adding offense at the plate with eight home runs and 32 RBI to go along with her .353 batting average.

As the team's starting third baseman, Vega is batting .291 on the year with two home runs, 20 RBI and 21 walks and a .975 fielding percentage. Gutierrez, the third Cerritos pitcher on the roster, has gone 4-2 on the season with a 4.17 ERA in 40.1 innings of work. At the plate, Gutierrez is hitting .242 with three home runs, six doubles, 12 RBI and 15 walks.
