The Cerritos College softball team has added two more players from last year's team to their list of players who have signed with four-year schools. Joining the six players that signed during the fall semester are outfielder Joanna Perruccio and catcher Jesseca Martinez, who have both signed with Grace (NE) University.

Both players will be red-shirting this season, with Perruccio having two years of eligibility remaining, while Martinez will have three seasons. They will be joining outfielder Roxanna Jensen, who also signed with the Royals and will be on the team this season.

Perruccio received the Golden Shoe Award by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association after leading the state with 44 stolen bases during her freshman season. She added 23 more stolen bases her sophomore year and concluded her career with a school record 67 stolen bases, while her 36 walks last year were one shy of tying the school's single-season record. She finished the year batting .346 with 23 RBI after hitting .405 as a freshman with 15 RBI. Perruccio was a two-time 1st Team All-South Coast Conference selection.

As for Martinez, she appeared in a reserve role and went 1-for-12 from the plate with a pair of RBI.

Those who have already signed include Jensen, third baseman Crystal Cano (Hope International University), catcher Krystal Purkey (Cal State Dominguez Hills), first baseman/catcher Haley Petruccelli (Marymount California University), second baseman Monique Ramirez (California Lutheran University) and pitcher Ana Pedroza (Whittier College).
