The Cerritos College softball team dropped two games back of first place in the South Coast Conference after suffering a 10-5 defeat at the hands of East Los Angeles College on Thursday. The team will play a rain make-up game at Nancy Kelly Field against Orange Coast College (6-15) at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.

In the top of the first inning, Cerritos took a 1-0 lead, but saw the Huskies (10-17, 4-8) score the next eight runs. East LA scored runs in four straight innings, while the Falcons made a run with a pair of runs in the sixth and seventh innings.
