Joining two of her teammates, Cerritos College outfielder Jezeree Misaalefua (Carson HS/Long Beach City CC) has signed a National Letter of Intent with William Penn University. She joins catcher Jesseca Martinez (Grace, NE University) and Camille Manzo (University of Charleston) as Falcons who have made their four-year decision.

Jezeree Misaalefua has signed with William Penn University Misaalefua, who only spent one season with Cerritos, helped the team to a 31-14 record and berth in the Southern California Super Regional. She batted .331 on the season with four doubles, three triples and three home runs, while her 31 RBI ranked fifth on the team. Misaalefua also had three outfield assists in 56 chances and a .946 fielding percentage. On the year, Misaalefua recorded a pair of four-hit games and drove in a season-high five runs in the opener against Saddleback College.

At William Penn University, an NAIA Division II private school located in Oskaloosa, IA, Misaalefua will help the Statesmen improve on their 19-32 record this season and 6-16 Heart of American Conference record. The team returns all but three of the players on their roster.

"I'll always remember by time at Cerritos because I made some great friends and it was a memorable experience," said Misaalefua. "I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my life and am excited to be playing somewhere new. I've always said I wanted to play out of state and this is my chance."
