For the second time this week, the Cerritos College women's tennis team was shut out by their opponent. The Falcons (7-8) were defeated by Fullerton College on Thursday and will have until next Thursday when they host Mt. San Antonio College in a 2:00 p.m. South Coast Conference match to break that skid.

The team played without #1 singles player Samantha Judan (Bishop Montgomery HS) and with her out of commission, the Falcons were unable to win any sets against the Hornets. Only sophomore Cyd Dionson (Western HS) was able to win more than one game in any set, as she dropped a 3-6, 3-6 decision against Victoria Vo.

In doubles play, only the tandem of Dionson and freshman Natali Perez (Lakewood HS) won a game, as they were defeated, 2-8, as the team was forced to forfeit a singles and doubles match due to the lack of players.
