The Cerritos College women's tennis team closed out their South Coast Conference season with a 7-2 loss to champion College of the Desert. The Falcons (14-6, 7-5) finish up their regular season with a make-up match against Cypress College at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Picking up a win on the day was the top doubles team of sophomores Samantha Judan (Bishop Montgomery HS) and Rianne Ilagan (Bellflower HS), who improved to 6-1 as a tandem with their 8-6 win. Sophomore Staci Gonzales (Vista del Lago HS) earned a 6-2, 6-1 win in the #6 position of singles play.

Judan went three sets in the #1 singles match against Letecia Dos Santos, but was defeated, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6.
